Powerpoint & PDF-- Create A Presentation The Easy Way

By: Reena Cruz

Because consistent innovation and development are behind the growth of a company, the communication of ideas and information is essential.

From concept to design, there are numerous ways of conveying those groundbreaking projects and new products, the most effective method being a PowerPoint presentation. It has become a standard tool for visually sharing and interpreting ideas on the professional level.

Yet, let’s not forget another dynamic tool that also facilitates the sharing of information: the PDF.

When used in conjunction with the PDF format, the advantages of using PowerPoint multiply. The most important advantage for the presenter, however, is the ability to use both formats for constructing that PowerPoint presentation more efficiently.

* Working with MS PowerPoint

For everyone, creating a quality presentation involves a lot of time spent in preparation, planning and editing. Picture it:

You’ll have to sift through all your business documents, copying and pasting research from different files. To capture statistical data by toggling between applications will be a waste of your effort.

Then there’s the hassle of searching for those tables and pie charts you need. This doesn’t even involve the rehearsing and editing you’ll need to do.

As easy as PowerPoint has made it to create a presentation with a range of resources and tools at your disposal, you may need another way to facilitate that creation process. Is there an easier way? The answer: Conversion.

* Converting Documents into PowerPoint

Conversion between the PPT file and other formats is easy with PDF conversion software products. With Sonic PDF Creator v.1.2 it was made easier with the included option of creating a PowerPoint file directly from another file format.

Yet, there still remained a question about converting the PDF which, being the standard format for documentation, is sure to have most of the data you need.

PowerPoint does give you the ability of inserting a PDF document into your presentation. However, viewers will need to open that PDF document in order to view the contents, disrupting the flow in presentation and in most cases, you won’t even need the whole file.

So, is there another way of converting that PDF into a PowerPoint file-- with good visual results? The answer: Able2Extract Professional v.4.0.

* Converting PDF Documents into PowerPoint

Able2Extract Professional 4.0 is the latest version update for our Able2Extract conversion software. It still has the same features of the previous version 3.0, but it also contains newer conversion options such as a full conversion command for PowerPoint files.

With more powerful conversion technology, you can convert your PDF information directly into a PowerPoint presentation slide. This is ideal for extracting tables, graphs, charts and statistical information that may be in a PDF document.

Of course, what makes our software unique is that you can select the necessary information for conversion by using the selection tools for tables and text. Integrating your ideas onto the same PowerPoint slide afterwards via text boxes is a better way of constructing a tailored presentation for interpreting your ideas.

Using Able2Extract Professional v.4.0 is a faster, better, and productive method. With all the toolbar and desktop resources you have available to you, Able2Extract Professional v.4.0 is one tool that complements your working needs and is one tool your computer shouldn’t be without.

PDF To Word Conversion: One Solution For A Number Of Hassles

By: Reena Cruz

MS Word is one of the most widely used authoring programs to create simple documents that can contain anything from professional reports to legal documents to publication articles. Transferring them into the PDF format is done for a number of reasons. This may be for archiving, Internet publishing, digital work processes, just to name a few.

The PDF format is a life saver for any of those needs. It’s quick and easy to create; it contains great viewing options; and it can handle a variety of media as well as a range of file sizes.

However, as great as the PDF is, everyone in a working, studying, or researching environment knows that the PDF is a difficult-to-handle format because of its purpose and nature.

In some cases, minute details aren’t a priority and hence, most information within a PDF file can become redundant. The information can be difficult to manipulate to your own specific needs which can be small or great. Here are a few:

Scenario 1: Doing research, you come across a PDF file from which you only want to print up only certain sections of certain pages.

Scenario 2: You’re a student and are trying to print up the study and lecture notes from your class that are in the PDF format on-line.

Scenario 3: Your work requires a PDF file in hard copy with changes that need to be made.

* A Makeshift Solution

You need to be efficient with your time and you need to be productive with your workload. What do you do to accomplish the task at hand?

You can try copying and pasting into a word document, but the text appears in a different font or a little skewed or in different paragraph formatting. You’ll probably spend more time reformatting the document to make the text or graphics fit properly and economically on the page.

In another attempt, you may try working from screen to paper, copying out by hand and reading from the browser. Yet, eyestrain and time are things you can’t afford.

For changes that you need to make, trying to directly edit and then print the PDF document is just not possible because of security measures put in place. You’re stuck for ideas and time is of the essence.

We’ve all been there. We’ve all done that. We all know that none of it works.

* An Exact Extract Solution

However, there is a faster, more convenient way to approach this situation. One solution to all three problems is to convert the PDF file into a Word document. All you need is the PDF file to be converted, a PDF to Word conversion software application and MS Word (in which to work on your file after conversion). After that, it becomes much easier to get your work done as it should be done.

Yet, you may ask, “But what about the extra one hundred pages I don’t need?”; “What about the graphics I don’t want to print alongside the notes?”; or “What about the security settings?”.

You don’t need another solution—you need a good solution. Good solutions are ones that give you the flexibility of having options and we’ve got a good one for you.

With Able2Doc 2.0 you convert (easily and exactly )the text that you want. Needless information can be skipped over and ignored. Just using the selection tool options and your mouse, you can click and highlight your way to easy made Word documents over which you have control.

Able2Doc Professional allows you to perform conversions with scanned PDFs. This becomes a life saver when it comes to long documents that have been scanned instead of created manually. The option to handle such documents is there for you in case you need it.

Or if, in the long run, you need to extract information into another format other than just a Word document, we’ve got other solutions for that as well. Our Able2Extract v.3.0 products in both Standard and Professional versions, can handle different format conversions as well as conversions from PDF to Word documents.
